Join has significantly upgraded its referral mechanism by bringing Cello into its ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cello now automates the entire referral journey, from tracking referrals to rewarding users and constantly re-engaging their user base. This integration simplifies the referral process and makes it more rewarding and engaging for Join&#8217;s users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How did they succeed?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Next to <a href=\"http:\/\/join.com\/\">Join<\/a>\u2019s state-of-the-art in-product implementation process (first-level menu integration), Join\u2019s growth team succeeded, particularly through various re-engagement campaigns driving activation rates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>In-product contextual notifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Contextual notifications increase the likelihood of users engaging with your referral program. Join implemented a smart notification strategy pointing towards their referral program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Moments of pride triggers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the heart of their initiative was clearly <strong>understanding their primary product value<\/strong>, transcending the traditional &#8216;aha&#8217; moment. For <a href=\"http:\/\/join.com\/\">Join<\/a>, the most significant trigger was <strong>successfully hiring a candidate<\/strong> through their platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Building on this foundation, they identified several other critical activities that would serve as triggers for the referral program, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>achieving a specified number of candidates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>posting a new job advertisement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>moving a candidate to a particular stage within the application process<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>achieving a certain number of hires.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Activation campaigns<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Timing played a crucial role in <a href=\"http:\/\/join.com\/\">Join<\/a>&#8216;s strategy. They leveraged time-based triggers, such as when customers extended a contract or increased their monthly recurring revenue (MRR) spending. 6x lower than their average.
